As all 20 Premier League clubs prepare for the final week of league games this season, attention will soon turn to an important summer transfer window for a number of managers
There's less than a week to go until the Premier League season wraps up, after a round of fixtures including Arsenal's crucial win at Old Trafford, and some fans and clubs will already be looking ahead to the summer transfer window.
Priorities are bound to be different for different clubs. Some will be looking to make big-money additions – either to kick on or to pick back up after difficult season – while others will be desperate to hold on to their in-demand stars.
The results of the final games of the season could also have a bearing, especially for the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Newcastle United. All three are looking to make sure of European qualification, but someone's set to be disappointed.
Elsewhere, some managerial changes could play a part in determining transfer movements. Liverpool have the task of finding players for incoming manager Arne Slot to begin his journey, while other Premier League sides could find themselves fending off interest from Bayern Munich as the Bundesliga side move on from Thomas Tuchel.
With the European Championships on the horizon, there will also be plenty of players seeing the tournament as an audition. How many of them might we see flocking to the Premier League once the action in Germany wraps up in July.

Olivier Giroud has announced he will leave AC Milan at the end of the season to move to the MLS.
The 36-year-old, who joined the Italian club in July 2021, lifted the Serie A title during his maiden campaign and has scored 48 goals and added 20 assists in 130 appearances. However, the former Arsenal and Chelsea forward has now confirmed in an emotional interview that his time in Milan will come to an end.
Giroud is already out of contract at the end of June and he is expected to join France international team-mate Hugo Lloris at LAFC until December 2025 – a club part-owned by Hollywood actor Will Ferrell.
Speaking to Milan TV, Giroud said: "The next two games will be my last for Milan. My career will continue in MLS. I'm very proud of everything I've done here at Milan across three seasons.
"It's the right time to announce it. My story with Milan ends this year, but Milan will forever remain in my heart."
Former Leeds manager Jesse Marsch has been appointed as the new head coach of the Canada national team.
In a statement, Marsch said: "It is an absolute honour to represent and lead the Canadian Men’s National Team in our preparation for a home World Cup.
"The combination of the new leadership inside of Canada Soccer coupled with the potential of this dynamic player pool has inspired me, and I am ready and eager to take on this massive responsibility.
"My excitement and anticipation to get started are immense. One of my main goals will be to help unite the soccer community in Canada to support our efforts to be successful on and off the pitch. All In for 2026!"
Chelsea will push ahead and try to strengthen in four positions in the summer window, despite lingering financial fair play concerns.
The Blues have spent over £1billion on players since Todd Boehly's consortium took over two years ago. The club made a pre-tax loss of £90.1million in the year up to June 30, which followed a loss of £121.4m in the previous year’s accounts and hinted at potential difficulties complying with the Premier League’s profit and sustainability rules.
The Telegraph says the Blues try to sign a forward, a left-back, a centre-back and a goalkeeper. Co-owners Boehly and Behdad Eghbali have given a vote of confidence to sporting directors Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart, who will now lead the search for new players despite facing criticism from supporters.

Former Manchester United star Nani has found himself on the lookout for a new club once again after his spell at Adana Demirspor was cut short.
Nani, 37, spent eight years on United's books before leaving in 2015. Since then he has played his club football in Spain, Italy, Portugal, Australia and the United States, as well as two spells in the Turkish Super Lig.
His latest stint saw him move to Adana in the summer of 2023. He signed a one-year contract, with an option to extend it for another 12 months, but his time in Turkey has been brought to an immediate end.
He scored four goals for the club, the last of those coming in March in a victory over Sivasspor. However, he is now on the lookout for a 10th club of his career after leaving before the final week of the season.
Chelsea are prepared to pay €65million (£56m) to sign Palmeiras wonderkid Willian 'Messinho' Estevao this summer.
GOAL Brazil reports that the Blues are willing to pay a Brazilian record transfer fee to head off competition from Bayern Munich. The transfer rumours as flying even though the 17-year-old would not be eligible to move until April 2025, once he's 18.
The winger is considered the next wonderkid off the production line at Palmeiras, who have just sold Endrick to Real Madrid.
Michael Duff has become the new Huddesfield manager.
The Terriers have hired Duff on a three-year contract after being relegated from the Championship. Duff has previously taken charge of Cheltenham Town, Barnsley and Swansea, who he left in December.
“We have huge ambitions both on and off the pitch, and every discussion we have held with Michael has given us confidence that he not only shares those same goals, but knows what it means to represent Huddersfield Town," said chairman Kevin Nagle.
Duff said: “Since leaving my last role, I’ve had time to reflect, recharge and focus on what the next challenge I wanted to take on would look like. Whatever was to come had to be right and be a good fit, and that is exactly what this feels like."

Crystal Palace have rejected Bayern Munich's attempts to lure manager Oliver Glasner to the club this summer.
Bayern are in need of a new boss, with Thomas Tuchel set to leave at the end of the season. They approached Palace about Glasner, who has made a huge impression since joining in February.
According to The Athletic, Bayern offered to pay €18million (£15.5m) in compensation but Palace told the German club they wanted closer to €100m (£86m).
Adam Lallana has announced that he will leave Brighton at the end of the season.
The 36-year-old has spent four years with Brighton since leaving Liverpool. He's made 105 appearances for the club, including 29 this season.
“It was a tough decision, but it just feels like the right time, not just for myself but for the club as well," he said. "I’ve been in talks with Roberto [De Zerbi] for the past couple of months and he expressed his wish for me to stay and keep playing.
“However, after taking a little time to think about where the football club is at, and having been away from my family for the last four years, I just feel it’s the right time."
Manchester United have signed Dante Plunkett following a successful trial period.
The left-back has joined the United academy from Aston Villa after featuring for the under-18s.

Arsenal are set to lose highly-rated defender Reuell Walters after he rejected the offer of a new deal, according to The Athletic.
Walters has been with Arsenal since November 2020 and won the Academy Scholar of the Year Award for the 2022-23 season. He has been on the last two pre-season tours with Mikel Arteta's first-team squad and the club wanted to keep him.
However, the 19-year-old, who can play at centre-back and right-back, has instead decided to turn down a new deal in search of game time elsewhere.
Newcastle are pushing through an early summer deal to sign Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo.
The defender is set to become the Geordies' first summer signing on a free transfer – to relieve Newcastle ’s centre back injury crisis. Tosin is being signed as a potential starter – although every player has to earn that right – as a challenge to Swiss international Fabian Schar.
Newcastle have tracked Adarabioyo for several years, and his expiring contract situation means the Saudi funded club can use their spending power on a right winger and striker instead. Bournemouth’s Lloyd Kelly, a left sided defender is also being lured to the North East also on a free.
Barcelona boss Xavi has given the OK for the club to sign Guido Rodriguez, according to reports on the continent (via Football Espana).
The Betis star is out of contract in the summer, with Barca ready to pounce for a player who was previously on Manchester United's radar.
While he's yet to officially sign, the Argentine is expected to sign an initial two-year deal with the Catalan club ahead of a free transfer.
There is no chance of Anthony Msrtial remaining a Manchester United player beyond this season, according to Goal.
The French forward's contract is up this summer, and United opted against triggering an extension.

Jamie Vardy will not be joining Cesc Fabregas at Como after their promotion to Serie A, the Spaniard has confirmed.
“Vardy certainly won’t come, he’s not a goal," Fabregas, an assistant to manager Osian Robers, told DAZN (via Football Italia).
"We have to make the team with the aim of saving ourselves, then if we do more it would be perfect, whoever believes, as we have done this year. From November 25th to today we have been the best in Serie B.”

The Manchester City academy product is out of contract this summer, and The Mail reports Newcastle have convinced him to head north.
Manchester-born defender Tosin has played more than 100 times across four seasons at Craven Cottage, helping them win promotion back to the Premier League in 2022.
Manchester United could find themselves in trouble if they can't find a taker for Casemiro, according to football finance expert Rob Wilson.
"United had to pay big wages and a big transfer fee and he would’ve been laughing at the contract signing over the size of the deal," Wilson told OLBG.
"He's clearly not been fit at times this year, and then now, of course, being played out of position. It looks like he might have checked out from what is happening on the field.
"Maybe he's already got a deal lined up in the summer to move elsewhere, but it'll be a big problem if they can't move him."
