Tech News Today in India: Xiaomi has sent out an invite for the upcoming “Stride” EV technology launch event, which is the company’s first EV launch event outside China, where, the company is expected to showcase various technologies used on upcoming Xiaomi electric vehicles.
Xiaomi’s first EV launch even outside China, dubbed “Stride” to take place on December 28, where, the company is expected to showcase its first smart car, which is expected to be called as Xiaomi SU7 series with at least three different models with varying range and features. As the company recently announced Xiaomi’s upcoming EV is expected to run on HyperOS, Xiaomi’s very own custom operating system.

Samsung just launched two new mid-range A series smartphones — Galaxy A25 and the Galaxy A15, both feature a distinct Samsung design with a triple camera array at the back. These smartphones offer up to 256 GB of internal storage and 8 GB of RAM, and they run on the latest Android 14-based OneUI 6 operating system.

Apple’s Vision Pro headset is reported to launch by late January or early February in the US, and the company is expected to ship around 50,000 units of the high-end VR headsets in 2024. Vision Pro was officially announced at WWDC 2023, priced at $3,500, it is clearly one of the most expensive standalone consumer VR headsets in the market.

iQOO will soon introduce the new Neo 9 series. As per the leaks, the base Neo 9 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, while the Neo 9 Pro will make use of the more powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC. Both smartphones are launching on December 27 in China, and they are expected to be made available in India by early January.
