However, with the European window set to commence on Monday and Euro 2024 entering its final stages, recruitment is likely to accelerate in the coming days.
Chelsea have, characteristically, been among Europe’s busiest clubs in the transfer window so far, wasting no time overseeing incomings and outgoings.
The Blues completed two deals on Friday to help them stay in line with Financial Fair Play and the Premier League‘s Profit and Sustainability Rules.
Meanwhile, Manchester United are working tirelessly behind the scenes to supply Erik ten Hag with new recruits ahead of INEOS’ first full season at the helm.
And one of the Red Devils’ priority targets is claimed to be open to an Old Trafford switch, potentially paving the way to a straightforward deal.

Chelsea have discussed the possibility of including Nicolas Jackson in a potential swap deal for Alexander Isak, according to The Guardian.
It is said that Chelsea have already contacted Newcastle to express their interest in securing Isak’s signature.
