NEWS… BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT
After nine months of pulsating drama, the 2023/24 Premier League campaign draws to a close with the final round of fixtures this weekend.
All 20 top-flight teams will be in action at 4.00pm on Sunday afternoon, with Manchester City targeting victory against West Ham to clinch a fourth straight title under Pep Guardiola.
Arsenal are praying for a miracle at the Etihad and must also beat Everton to have any hope of lifting the Premier League trophy for the first time since their Invincibles campaign back in 2003/04.
At the other end of the table, Sheffield United and Burnley have already been relegated and Luton appear destined to join them in the Championship given they require a goal-difference swing of 12 to leapfrog 17th-placed Nottingham Forest.
The battle for Europa League and Conference League qualification is still alive, though, with Tottenham, Manchester United, Newcastle and Chelsea hoping to end the season on a high.
Aston Villa sealed their place in next year’s Champions League, alongside Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool, thanks to Spurs’ 2-0 loss to City in midweek.
Manchester City’s all-important clash with West Ham will be shown on Sky Sports Main Event, with coverage switching over from the League Two play-off final between Crawley Town and Crewe Alexandra at 3pm on Sunday, May 19.
Liverpool’s encounter with Wolves at Anfield – Jurgen Klopp’s final game in charge of the Reds – will be on Sky Sports Premier League, with the build-up to the day’s action beginning at 3pm.
Arsenal’s contest against Everton will be broadcast live on TNT Sports 1 from 3pm.
Meanwhile, Chelsea’s battle with Bournemouth will be shown on Sky Sports Football and Sky Sports Arena, with coverage starting at 3pm.
Sky customers will be able to watch on the Sky Sports website and with the Sky Go app.

It is a long-held tradition that the final round of Premier League games on the last day of the season will all kick-off at exactly the same time.
This is to make sure that no side is put at a disadvantage by playing before their direct rivals in the table.
In this scenario, the team playing first may not know what result they would require to fulfil their objectives.
Match of the Day will be shown live on BBC One at 10.30pm.
The show will feature highlights from all ten of Sunday’s Premier League fixtures.
