In 2023, India’s conventional PC market, comprising desktops, notebooks, and workstations, witnssed a shipment of 13.9 million units, marking a 6.6 per cent decline year-over-year. HP emerged as the market leader, as per a new report released by the International Data Corporation (IDC). The desktop category witnessed a 6.7 per cent year-over-year growth, while notebooks and workstations experienced declines of 11.1 per cent and 14 per cent, respectively.
The launch of the Tecno Pova 6 Pro may be imminent, as it has been spotted on the Google Play Console database. This model follows the release of the Pova 5 Pro in India last September alongside the Pova 5. Further details about the new Tecno phone have been revealed, as the Tecno Pova 6 Pro was recently spotted on Geekbench, says a report by 91mobiles.
Minister of State (MoS) for Electronics and Information Technology Rajeev Chandrasekhar on Tuesday said that the government is mulling to unveil a preliminary regulatory framework for artificial intelligence (AI) by June-July, amid a rise in deepfakes and AI-generated content, the media reported. During the inaugural session of the two-day NASSCOM leadership summit, he was quoted as saying by news agency PTI: “The government is actively developing a draft AI regulation framework, slated for release in June or July this year. Our aim is to leverage AI for economic advancement while mitigating potential risks and adverse impacts.”
