Wolves are closing in on the loan signing of Celta Vigo striker Jorgen Strand Larsen.
The 24-year-old will have a medical on Monday before joining for an initial loan fee of 3m euros (£2.5m).
Wolves will then have the option to buy the Norway international permanently for 27m euros (£23m) next summer.
Larsen scored 16 goals for club and country last season, including 13 in the league, as Celta finished 14th in La Liga.
Wolves have already signed winger Rodrigo Gomes on a five-year deal from Braga, while teenage right-back Pedro Lima will join from Brazilian side Sport Recife on 1 July.

Paul from Northwich: As a follow-up to Tom, Andrew & David at 11:29 on PSR. I completely agree with Andew, these rules are crazy – they are going to ultimately kill the competitiveness of the Premier League against other European leagues. Newcastle are a financially sustainable club – these sell-to-buy considerations are madness.
OK, let's have a quick recap of the deals done so far, and those currently reported to be under discussion:

Luiz gave the Villa team flair and his role created a very multi-dimensional midfield. Will need to bring in some real quality if we want to compete in the Champions League next year, especially as we've sold Luiz and Iroegbunam already. Wouldn't mind a few more free signings like Tielemans to shore up the books!
Tarush, Villa Fan
Brazil midfielder Douglas Luiz told Juventus fans that he was "really happy to be a Bianconero" in a video post on social media after his £42.35m move from Aston Villa to the Serie A club was confirmed.
"I can't wait to play in the Allianz Stadium," he added. "See you soon and Forza Juve!"
The 26-year-old has signed a five-year deal with Juventus to end his stay at Villa Park.
Luiz, who has been capped 15 times by his country, scored 22 goals in 204 appearances for Villa, who signed him from Manchester City in 2019.
The midfielder is currently in the United States with Brazil's national side at the Copa America, where he completed his Juventus medical.
Villa's pressing need to comply with profit and sustainability rules (PSR) meant they had to cash in on one of their key players.
They have already sold midfielder Tim Iroegbunam, 21, to Everton for a reported £9m, while Chelsea have completed a £19m move for their 18-year-old attacking midfielder Omari Kellyman.

Juve might have got a discount, but we kept him out of the Premier League, particularly Arsenal who would have paid more. Good decision Villa!

West Ham United
West Ham defender Ben Johnson, 24, has posted a message to fans, external on the club's website following news that he will leave London Stadium at the end of his contract, which finishes today (30 June).
"I have been blessed to have come through the Academy of Football and to play for the first team in the Premier League, domestic cups and in European competitions," wrote Johnson, who made 109 first-team appearances for West Ham, making his Premier League debut in the 2018-19 season.
"I just want to be known and remembered for my time at West Ham for having played with a smile on my face and having really enjoyed my football. That’s really important to me."
Johnson, who is the cousin of former England defenders Paul Parker and Ledley King, joined the West Ham academy aged seven.
The full-back was part of the squad that won the Europa Conference League in 2023, which he described as his "most special memory".
He added: "To be involved in a European trophy win doesn’t come around frequently, so to be around and be part of it, and to be able to achieve that with West Ham was incredible.
"My dreams were exceeded by what happened two seasons ago and I’m just so, so pleased I did it as a West Ham player. I’ll never forget that night."

Douglas Luiz, what a player on his day. Served the club immensely well. Shame it had to end like this with PSR forcing it when champions league was secured with him playing a monumental part. Respect.

I have just been speaking to an official at a Premier League club who says it has felt like the build-up to deadline-day this weekend.
It is not a deadline in the sense of players being registered but most clubs need to balance their books by 30 June so they are compliant with Profit and Sustainability Rules.
It explains the confusion around Archie Gray, with both Brentford and Tottenham keen on the Leeds youngster, who clearly doesn't have to move as he is under contract.
Leeds though are trying to avoid a fine and a points deduction.

Luiz should have been £60m plus, a complete midfielder who was huge for Villa last season. Suspect the PSR deadline pressure has given Juve a huge discount.
David
Douglas Luiz is currently in Brazil's Copa America squad and came on as a late substitute in his side's 4-1 win over Paraguay on Saturday.
He has 15 caps for his country.

Aston Villa fans, we want to hear from you!
Are you sad one of your star midfielders departs, or happy with the £42.3m fee?
Or maybe a bit of both?
Juventus say they and Aston Villa have a greed to a £42.3m deal (€50m), payable in four financial years – with "additional charges of €1.5m (£1.27m)."
Douglas Luiz joins on a five-year contract.
Douglas Luiz leaves Aston Villa after making over 150 appearances for the West Midlands club.
He joined from Manchester City in 2019 and was a key part of this season's side who qualified for the Champions League.
You wait for one transfer and then two come at once!
Aston Villa have confirmed Douglas Luiz has joined Juventus.
West Ham United have posted on X, external to confirm that Algeria winger Said Benrahma has completed a permanent move to French side Lyon for an undisclosed fee.
Benrahma, 28, joined the Hammers from Brentford initially on loan in October 2020 before making the move permanent three months later, and his current contract was due to run until 2026.
He joined Lyon on loan at the end of the winter transfer window in a deal that included an option to make the move permanent in the summer.

It’s criminal that clubs wanting to push for Europe or looking to survive at the other end are being forced into selling academy graduates to comply with PSR. If the £105m limit set in 2012 had kept pace with inflation then it would be £146m today. Yet costs, including players wages, have all escalated in the same period.
DH, Berkshire.
Talking about clubs that have been active, Newcastle certainly fall into that bracket today.
As well as working on reported deals to sell 19-year-old Gambia forward Yankuba Minteh to Brighton and Scottish midfielder Elliot Anderson, 21, to Nottingham Forest, the Mail's Sami Mokbel reports, external that the Magpies are also trying to negotiate a deal to sign Forest's Greek international goalkeeper Odysseas Vlachodimos, 30.
An update on Leeds midfielder Archie Gray – the Athletic's David Ornstein is reporting that Tottenham are now working on a deal to sign the 18-year-old after Brentford had a £40m offer turned down by the Elland Road outfit.
"Talks ongoing with expectation on all sides agreement can be reached but nothing finalised yet," posted Ornstein on X, external.
Aston Villa, Everton and Chelsea have been busy since the window opened on 14 June.
Villa recorded a loss of £119m in their last accounts, dating 31 May, 2023, so needed to move quickly to avoid any breach.
Everton were docked six points last season for two separate breaches while Chelsea have spent around £1bn since the Todd Boehly-led consortium's takeover in 2023.
The majority of those Chelsea signings were signed to at least six-year deals to spread payments across a long period, limiting the losses per year to help meet PSR requirements.
