The Chairman of Kwara United Football Club, Kunbi Clement Titiloye, has thrown his weight behind the upcoming Kwara State/FA Sport Showcasing Programme.

Kumbi Titiloye received members of the organizing committee, led by Programme Coordinator, Mr. Olawale Olatoye, Representative of FA Sport Mr Ayodeji Adegbenro and Chairman of Ilorin West Local Football Council, Alhaji Abdulrasaq Owolabi Agbaji Wopa, in his office on Thursday.
The showcasing programme, slated for July 16th-18th, 2024, aims to discover and develop young talents in the state. Titiloye expressed his support for the initiative, acknowledging its potential to uplift football in Kwara State.
“I want to appreciate the Kwara State government for their commitment to grassroots football development in the state,” Titiloye said. “This programme is a testament to their efforts in empowering our youth and promoting sports excellence. I commend the government for their laudable project, which will surely have a positive impact on the football landscape in Kwara State.”
The programme coordinator, Olatoye, briefed the chairman on the plans and objectives of the event, which includes scouting for young talented players, Networking, training, and mentorship. Alhaji Wopa, a member of the organizing committee, also emphasized the importance of the programme in developing grassroots football.
