English Premier League table 2023/24: Final EPL standings as Man City win record fourth straight title – Sporting News
Manchester City won their final match of the 2023/24 Premier League season, confirming their place atop the Premier League table for a fourth straight season, the first time that has ever been done before .
The lead had never changed hands when the title has still be on the line going into the final day, and that stayed true as a 3-1 win over West Ham did the business thanks to a brace from Phil Foden and a third from Rodri.
Arsenal gave it a good fight, as Mikel Arteta’s side squeaked past Everton by a 2-1 score, but it wasn’t quite enough to see out the chase, finishing two points adrift.
The Gunners still managed to finish a close second, snatching a place in the Champions League next year alongside Arsenal and Aston Villa, and Tottenham earned a berth in the Europa League with their fifth-placed finish. Chelsea’s sixth-place finish is good enough for a place at least in the Europa Conference League, but it could be elevated to the Europa League should Man City win the FA Cup, which would bump Newcastle into the Europa Conference League.
At the bottom of the table, Sheffield United, Burnley, and Luton Town were relegated to the Championship, as both Everton and Nottingham Forest manage to survive despite points deductions for financial breaches.

In 2023/24, there was a scenario in which the Premier League could see the top five teams all qualify for the UEFA Champions League had England finished as one of the top two performing nations in European club cup competitions. However, those hopes are now over as Italy and Germany became the nations to boast a fifth spot in next year’s competition.
If the FA Cup winner or Carabao Cup winner finishes in the top four, the European berth that accompanies that title would go to the next team in the Premier League standings not already qualified for Europe.
