Former footballer Alex Scott has taken up a surprising new role as a presenter on KISS radio.
Scott is known for being a presenter and pundit during coverage of both men’s and women’s football matches, featuring on Sky Sports and the BBC.
The former Arsenal player will be presenting her first show on KISS on Sunday at 7pm, during which she will be playing two hours of ‘old skool anthems’.
Speaking about her new role with KISS, Scott told The Mirror: ‘Everyone knows that I love football, but music is just as much a part of who I am.
‘I’m thrilled to be back with the KISS team and digging into my collection to share some more Old Skool anthems every Sunday.

‘I’m hoping to carry on those weekend vibes all the way into Sunday night and setting everyone up for the new week.’
In a promotional video for her new show, Scott discussed some of her favourite music, and recalled listening to The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.
Scott also revealed that the first gig she attended was Mary J Blige at Wembley, while she also used to listen to LL Cool J.
The ex-England international, who is also a frequent guest presenter of The One Show, will continue with her football media commitments.
Last month, Scott was criticised by former footballer Joey Barton for her presenting on Football Focus.
Barton accused Scott of ‘putting Football Focus in the ground’.
Speaking on his podcast Common Sense with Joey Barton, Barton said: ‘She’s about to put Football Focus, which is a flagship thing, in the ground. We’ve got her to thank for that.
‘And then people coming back to me saying she’s got a degree in sports journalism. I’m like “who gives a f***, she’s f****** crap, who cares?”
‘She hasn’t got a degree in anything, she’s s****. She’s got a degree in boring people to death, that’s why they’re turning off.’
