Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City's remaining fixtures as Premier League title run-in begin – The Mirror

28views

Just one point separates Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City in the Premier League title race, but who do each side have to face between now and the end of the season?
The race for the Premier League title intensified after Liverpool and Manchester City held one another to a 1-1 draw in an enthralling encounter on Sunday.
Pep Guardiola's side took the lead in the 23rd minute through John Stones, before Liverpool responded to equalise moments after half-time as Alexis Mac Allister scored from the penalty spot. Both teams had chances to win it, but neither could find an elusive second goal and they had to settle for a point apiece.
The result keeps Arsenal, who beat Brentford 2-1 on Saturday, top of the table until at least after the international break later this month. The Gunners have won their last eight Premier League matches and are looking in a strong position to win their first title since 2004.
However, there is still a long way to go. Each side have 10 matches to play before the end of the season, meaning there is 30 more points to fight for. Who has the toughest run-in, though? Here, Mirror Football have dissected and analysed Arsenal, Liverpool and City's remaining games…
Manchester City (a) – Sunday, March 31
Luton Town (h) – Wednesday, April 3
Brighton (a) – Saturday, April 6
Aston Villa (h) – Saturday, April 13
Wolves (a) – Saturday, April 20
Tottenham (a) – Saturday, April 27
Bournemouth (h) – Saturday, May 4
Manchester United (a) – Saturday, May 11
Everton (h) – Sunday, May 19
Chelsea (h) – TBC
For the first time since December, the Gunners currently sit top of the Premier League and they will be in first until at least March 31 when they travel to Manchester City. Arsenal were scheduled to face Chelsea next weekend, but that game has been postponed following the Blues' progression in the FA Cup.
After their blockbuster trip to the Etihad, Arsenal face Luton at home before travelling to Brighton, hosting Wolves and going to north London rivals Tottenham during a tough April. A trip to Old Trafford is sandwiched in-between matches against Bournemouth and Everton at the Emirates to end the campaign.
Brighton (h) – Sunday, March 31
Sheffield United (h) – Thursday, April 4
Manchester United (a) – Sunday, April 7
Crystal Palace (h) – Sunday, April 14
Fulham (a) – Saturday, April 20
West Ham (a) – Saturday, April 27
Tottenham (h) – Saturday, May 4
Aston Villa (a) – Saturday, May 11
Wolves (h) – Sunday, May 19
Everton (a) – TBC
With next weekend's clash against Everton postponed due to the Reds' participation in the FA Cup quarter-final, Liverpool are not back in Premier League action until March 31 against Brighton at Anfield. This is followed up by another home fixture versus Sheffield United.
Liverpool then travel to Manchester United before facing Crystal Palace, Fulham and West Ham to end April. May is poised to be very tough for Jurgen Klopp's side as they look to get over the line, with Champions League chasing duo Tottenham and Aston Villa to come before hosting Wolves on the final day.
Like Arsenal and Liverpool, Manchester City are not in action again in the Premier League until the end of March as they face Newcastle in the FA Cup quarter-final next month. It means City face Arsenal next up in the top-flight and that does feel like another gigantic game in the race for the title.
Victory for City would put them in a strong position to win their fourth successive title, especially considering their remaining matches after that. Guardiola's side arguably have the easiest set of fixtures between now and the end of the season, with Tottenham and Villa looking their trickiest other matches.
Arsenal (h) – Sunday, March 31

West Ham (h) – Sunday, May 19
