Ugandan singers released great songs that were spiced up with beautiful videos.
Some songs would never have become hits if it wasn’t for good videos, so it’s always important to appreciate the role directors play in the growth of the music industry.
Below are the music video directors who filmed songs that were popular in 2023.
1. Marvin Musoke
Marvin Musoke directed the filming of Vinka’s Bailando, which was the most-watched song on YouTube in 2023 at 4.3 million views.
Bailando was also well-received thanks to the groovy beats that Daddy Andre gave it.
Other music videos that were directed by Musoke are Omwenge by Azawi, Nothing by Elijah Kitaka, Omwana (Juliana Kanyomozi), Elijah Kitaka and Vinka’s Tutu Mama and All Over You by Vinka.
