Mount is said to have agreed personal terms with Manchester United after failing to finalise a new contract with the Blues.
Chilwell as at the Spanish Grand Prix on Sunday and stated his desire for Mount to stay put.
He told Sky Sports News: “It’s none of my business personally but I’d love him to stay. He’s my best mate, so personally I’d love him to stay.
“But it’s none of my business, I can’t really comment on that.”
Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has made Harry Kane his top target to replace Karim Benzema, reports claim.
Benzema’s departure was only announced on Sunday morning but the Spanish giants have immediately installed the Tottenham man as his ideal successor.
Kane is a long-term target for Real but has always seen a move to the Bernabeu blocked by the presence of Benzema.

Benzema is set to play his final game for Real in the La Liga match against Athletic Bilbao on Sunday.
Part of the club’s statement reads: “Real Madrid is and will always be his home, and he wishes him and all his family the best in this new phase of his life.”

Portuguese outlet Record claims the Blues have closed a deal to sign the Uruguay international.
PSG have shown a strong interest in Ugarte and are claimed to have offered a higher salary than Chelsea.
But Ugarte wants to challenge himself in the Premier League and play against some of the best teams in the world, despite Chelsea not being in any European competition next season.
Chelsea have told Sporting Lisbon they will trigger Ugarte’s release clause of just under £52m, with the 22-year-old set to become the first signing of the Mauricio Pochettino era.
Arsenal are reportedly set to miss out on West Ham captain Declan Rice.
Rice is the Gunners’ top target this summer and they have been confident of securing a deal.
But Marca transfer reporter Jose Felix Diaz claims Bayern Munich are set to sign the England star.
Rice has spoken to Bayern boss Thomas Tuchel and the conversations appear to have been successful.
Feliz Diaz tweeted: “The @FCBayern about to close the signing of Rice. Great signing.”
