Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories announced the launch of Nerivio, which is a US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) approved wearable device for drug-free management of migraine. Nerivio is a prescription-based non-invasive device that is aimed for acute and prophylactic (preventive) treatment of migraine for adults and adolescents aged 12 years and above. The wearable device can be worn on the upper arm. It is to be used within 60 minutes of onset of headache for acute treatment of migraine or every alternate day for prevention of migraine. Migraines are known to have a disproportionate impact on women, who constitute approximately 60 per cent of the 213 million migraine sufferers in India alone.
Google-owned YouTube announced on Thursday that it is experimenting with new generative artificial intelligence (AI) features, enabling users to create music tracks with a text prompt or a simple hummed tune. The experiment, called Dream Track, is featured on YouTube Shorts and makes use of Google DeepMind’s advanced music generation model, Lyria. According to Lyor Cohen, global head of music at YouTube, this initial phase of the experiment aims to explore how technology can foster stronger connections between artists, creators, and their fans.
During the annual Ignite conference on November 15, Microsoft announced the rebranding of its AI-powered Bing Chat and Bing Chat for Enterprise as “Copilot”. Alongside this name change, Microsoft announced that the Copilot experience will now be accessible on a standalone web page, similar to OpenAI’s ChatGPT. This expansion allows users to access the chatbot not only from Bing and Windows but also through any browser, enhancing its accessibility.
In May of this year, Google launched its AI chatbot Bard, initially available to users in over 180 countries. Recently, the tech giant has broadened access to Bard, making it now accessible for teenagers as well. Teenagers meeting the minimum age criteria for managing their own Google Account can now access Bard in English, with additional language support expected to be introduced gradually.

Crossbeats Nexus smartwatch, the first with ChatGPT integration, priced at Rs 5,999, is now retailing in India. Currently available on the brand’s website in two colour choices: Silver and Black, the smartwatch is being offered with pre-booking advantages, including a complimentary merchandise item signed by SKY, a free screen guard for protection, and an extended warranty of six months. 
At its annual Microsoft Ignite event, the company announced it has developed a Windows app for iOS, iPadOS, macOS, Windows as well as web browsers. The new app by Microsoft transforms the existing Windows 365 app into a centralised platform for streaming Windows from various sources, including a remote PC, Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365, Microsoft Dev Box and Microsoft’s Remote Desktop Services, the media has reported. The preview version of the new Windows app is not available for Android as yet.
